Mr. Powell is a cultural anthropologist and member of the brand strategy team in Shook Kelley's Los Angeles office. The article offers a "cultural anthropologist's take on the rituals, habits and tribal life of convenience store consumers."

For the second year in a row, Kevin Kelley spoke at ECR, a conference which focuses on enriching consumer retail experiences and usually takes place somewhere on the continent of Asia. Last year it took place in Singapore, but this year executives and thought leaders converged upon Thailand's dynamic capital, Bangkok, Thailand. There, Kevin provided the audience with insightful observations on the importance of influencing shopping behavior through context and environment. |

January 2006 and 2007 / Rev Up with Harley-Davidson
Kevin Kelley has been invited to speak at Harley-Davidson's Dealer Operations Training Seminars for three years running now. Most recently, Kevin addressed the dealers in San Antonio, Texas, on the power of persuasion in retail environment design. At the 2007 Seminar held in Orlando, Florida, Kevin discussed key retail strategies with the gathered delegates. At the 2006 Seminar held in Grapevine, Texas, Kevin spoke on survival tactics for the 21st century.
